Synopsis

Yvonne, orginally from Cap Verde, devotes herself body and soul to her four daughters. She suffers from a chronic illness, which literally leaves her breathless as she goes about her work as a cleaner. Her second daughter, Adjany, has a landmark birthday approaching, so Yvonne gets all her friends on board and undertakes the impossible to throw her a truly unforgettable party. Generous and brave, she confronts life's difficulties head on.

Yvonne, capverdienne, a quatre filles pour lesquelles elle se démène corps et âme. Elle est atteinte d’une maladie chronique qui lui coupe littéralement le souffle quand elle s'applique dans son travail de femme de ménage. Pour l’anniversaire d'Adjany, sa deuxième fille, Yvonne mobilise tout son réseau et fera l'impossible pour lui offrir une fête inoubliable. Généreuse et courageuse, elle tient tête aux difficultés de la vie.
